A circular walk with slight elevation changes in a wooded area that offers constant shadow and refreshment.
Walking along the river, in constant company of the soothing sound of the water and the lovely forest air, we pass many high Italian cypresses and arrive afterwards at the village of Agios Ioannis.
From there, we continue walking on the ridge of Atsipades to Kanavos, where we have our coffee in a traditional coffee house with a beautiful view to the Libyan Sea and the Kotsifou Gorge.
An area with a large supply of wild vegetables during the spring period.
As cherry on the pie, we finish with a delicious lunch at the tavern.
