A refreshing, varied, shady circular walk, where we start from the springs of the village of Argiroupoli, located south-west of Rethymnon.
The village was built on the foundations of the ancient settlement of Lappa and is also known as the village of springs with its refreshing mountain air and its many Roman paths.
After visiting a small sanctuary, we continue towards the Roman tombs and find refreshment at the spring with an ancient plane tree.
In these green surroundings, we walk partly through the river in the gorge of Kato Poros and arrive at our well-deserved coffee stop in the village.
On country roads and old paths, enjoying panoramic views, we arrive in the village of Argiroupoli, famous for its avocado products and we pay a visit to the Roman mosaic floor.
A delicious lunch awaits us at the tavern near the waterfalls.
